PETA : Slams Video Games

For the gamers who have played Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, you know that you're able to hunt whales with harpoons. PETA, who is supposed to care about real and living animals, decides this is a good time to go completely beserk and bash the living hell out of video games....
PETA's theory here is that whaling (in real life) consists of shooting whales with harpoons and leaving them to struggle or be hacked to pieces.... and this game promotes hurting and killing animals.

Dear PETA: the people of the world realize you TRY to live for a good cause. Your problem is that the real ignorace is coming from you.  Sure animals should be treated well, HOWEVER they are a food source and if you can't live with that then maybe you need a new cause.  Humans are not meant to live on plants, and we never will. Don't make us out to be animal nazis just because we don't share your exact beliefs!!!

That being said, you're bashing a video game.  You're upset because a fake character has the ability to go fake whaling. It neither promotes nor encourages the population of the world to go on a massive whaling spree. Just like violent shooting games aren't the cause of wars and school shootings.  You must be really bored if all you have to do with your time is go looking for things to be pissy about. Somehow the killing of humans in the video games is nothing to PETA who gives a damn... but whales! Don't kill the damn whales!
Here's what should happen... since whales are being overhunted (IN REALITY) then yes, it needs to stop...in reality. Additionally, you could get over yourself and realize you're overreacting to absolutely nothing!  You would think a group like PETA would be sick of getting attention for overreacting...What's next? Putting up road signs that say "don't hit the squirrel bastards that run in front of your car unless you're a nazi human"? C'mon! It's a frakin' video game, chill your faces, shut your pie holes.
